We have a family holiday home on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, at Mt Coolum. Apart from playing golf and surfing, I like to disappear and photograph the local wildlife – the fauna and flora. There’s a hidden lake near our house - what used to be a local swamp that’s been cleaned up a bit. It has some extraordinary water lilies in the middle, which take a lot of patience - waiting for the perfect light through the canopy of trees - and a very steady hand on the telephoto lens. Monet would have loved it, too. I wish I could paint.
